Growing up in the Ozarks and now raising my own family here, I’ve seen firsthand how our community steps up when people are in need. But I’ve also seen the quiet struggles—neighbors, friends, and families impacted by violence, abuse, and trauma. Too often, these battles are carried in silence.
The Victim Center is where that silence is broken. They stand beside survivors 24/7, free of charge, helping them find safety, healing, and hope. Their work matters deeply to me because everyone deserves to feel safe in their own home, in their schools, and in their relationships.
That’s why I’m raising money through Wine, Women & Shoes. It’s not just an event—it’s a lifeline for survivors right here in Springfield and across southwest Missouri. Every dollar raised stays local, providing crisis response, counseling, and prevention programs that change lives.
